Duel mode lets you pick any of the 39 Forbidden Memories duelists and face them in a standard duel with customizable settings. You can configure life points (4000, 8000, 16000, or 32000), enable or disable fusion skippable mode, and choose between the original game AI behavior or an alternative model.

The Simulator is a fusion playground where you combine any two cards from the full 722-card database to discover their fusion result. You can filter cards by group, browse the complete card library, and experiment with every possible fusion combination to plan your strategy.

Merge is a timed card-matching puzzle game with 30 progressive levels. Each level has a time limit and a limited number of failed attempts. Match cards by type or attribute to score points and reach bronze, silver, or gold score thresholds to complete the level. As levels advance, the time limit gets tighter and the score requirements increase.

Challenges are curated campaign gauntlets where you face a sequence of duelists with a limited number of lives. Each challenge has its own set of duelists, life count, and drop modes (x1, x5, x15, x30). Free duels let you farm cards without risking campaign progress. Timer Mode adds speedrun tracking with personal bests and split times.

You can also create Custom Challenges with your own duelist lineup and settings, then export them as text to share with other players.

Completion mode is a meta-progression game where the goal is to unlock all 689 obtainable cards across the game library. It features five independent drop mode save slots (x1, x5, x15, x30, x100), each with its own campaign progression, card collection, starchip balance, and redeemed passwords.

Play campaign duels to earn new cards, practice with free duels against any duelist, redeem 8-digit passwords to unlock specific cards, and build 40-card decks from your chest. Track which cards are still missing and plan your completion strategy.

Guardian Stars is a reference tool that explains how the 10 guardian star types (Sun, Mercury, Venus, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) interact in battle. Each star has strengths and weaknesses against others in a rock-paper-scissors system that affects battle damage and outcomes.

Online mode lets you play Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories against real players over the internet. It includes ranked PvP duels with ELO-based matchmaking, casual free duels with custom rules, scheduled tournaments with prize pools, and live spectating of ongoing matches.

Online features require authentication and use WebSocket connections for real-time game synchronization.
