Completion
...Frequently Asked Questions
The Completion hub is your starting point for the completion game mode. Here you can track how many cards you've obtained across five independent save slots (drop modes), manage your deck, duel in a campaign against every duelist, and redeem passwords through the Password Redeemer.
Your goal is to collect all 689 obtainable cards. Of the 722 total cards in Forbidden Memories, 33 are excluded from completion drops (Exodia pieces, Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth, Magician of Black Chaos, and others) and must be acquired through fusions, passwords, or rituals instead. The page shows your current progress at a glance — total cards obtained, completion percentage per drop mode, and campaign duelist progression.
Drop modes — x1, x5, x15, x30, and x100 — are five independent save slots for the completion game mode. Each slot stores its own campaign progress, card collection (chest, deck, obtained), starchip balance, and redeemed passwords. Switching between them lets you run multiple completion playthroughs in parallel without affecting each other.
Select a drop mode below the title, then click PLAY to open the completion mode interface. From there you can duel in the campaign, build decks, browse your library, or redeem passwords — all within that save slot.
The duelist grid shows every campaign opponent in progression order — from Simon Muran through Nitemare. Each duelist icon reflects their current completion status:
- Blue border — the duelist you're currently working on (your active campaign position)
- Sepia tone — duelist campaign completed (100% cards obtained)
- Normal opacity — unlocked and available but not yet completed
- Faded — locked and not yet reachable in the campaign order
Click any duelist icon to visit their detail page, where you can see their exact drop table, AI parameters, and farming strategy.
Each drop mode has its own progress bar showing completion percentage for that mode's card pool. Below the duelist grid you'll see your total count in the format OBTAINED / TOTAL — for example, 342 / 689 means you've collected 342 out of 689 obtainable cards for completion.
The percentage displayed next to the COMPLETION link at the top of the page averages progress across all 5 drop modes. Of the 722 total cards, roughly 33 are unobtainable through normal completion drops (Exodia pieces, Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth, Magician of Black Chaos, and others).
33 cards are completely excluded from completion mode — they have no tracking entry, cannot be added to your chest, and cannot be redeemed through passwords within completion mode. These include Exodia pieces (Right Leg, Left Leg), Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth, Harpie Lady Sisters, Magician of Black Chaos, and others.
They can still be acquired through the game's normal mechanics (fusions, passwords via the Password Playground, or rituals), but completion mode will never count or track them.
Browse the full card gallery to see all 722 cardsStarchips are earned from winning duels and are used to purchase cards through the Password Redeemer. Within the completion mode, each save slot keeps its own starchip balance. You don't need starchips to start or switch between drop modes — they're only spent when you redeem a password.
Passwords let you obtain specific cards directly without farming — ideal for closing the final gaps in your collection or acquiring cards with very low drop rates. Each card can be redeemed at most once per save slot.
